Thaís Lima is a Brazilian photographer, filmmaker, producer, audio describer, and voice-over artist, based in Washington, D.C. She has worked with advertising agents, recording studios, and media departments. Her clients include World Central Kitchen and National Geographic Learning.
Known for her research skills and extraordinary attention to detail, Thaís produced a series of shoots for National Geographic and Cengage Learning in her home country of Brazil, working with NG photographers John Stanmeyer and Annie Griffiths.
Thaís is an expert at translating and audio describing for documentaries, television shows, and theatre. She is passionate about education and art and has worked as an audio describer for the visually impaired and disabled at lectures and museums.
Deeply attached to her roots in Olinda, Brazil, Thais is dedicated to working on projects that have an impact on society. She holds a BA in Media Studies from Universidade Federal de Pernambuco and has taken advanced courses in Portrait, Lighting, Adobe Lightroom, and is currently studying Project Management.
